Convert Company Email To Hosted Microsoft Exchange

Project Objective:
Client with headquarters in St. Louis MO and salespeople located across the country desired to move from a web/POP based email system to one that would better utilize the capabilities of Outlook and Microsoft Office.

Project Solution:
After evaluating several solutions, including Gmail for Domains, IT Architechs specified a hosted version of Exchange that would allow the company users to take full advantage of Microsoft's email system. IT Architechs converted and uploaded all PSTs to the new Exchange accounts, with the entire process completed in a day.

Link Handheld PDAs to Quickbooks for inventory lookup and management

Project Objective:
Client needed to maintain a storefront with thousands of SKUs in inventory. While they were using QuickBooks to manage inventory, they needed a method to allow employees to roam the storefront and do lookups into the intentory. In addition, they needed to be able to adjust price and inventory levels on the fly.

Project Solution:
After evaluating several solutions, IT Architechs deployed an off-the-shelf solution that allowed employees to use a handheld PDA to scan barcodes and link back to the QuickBooks inventory. Since this solution also required enhanced wireless support, our infrastructure division configured new wireless access points to provide network access throughout their facility.
