The primary goal of the Architechs on our IT Infrastructure team is to work with our customers to architech solutions that enable them to:
- Reduce their cost of voice and data communication.
- Secure their network investment against internal and external vulnerabilities.
- Provide their remote workers with access to the full capabilities of the data network and the phone system.
- Provide a proactive operations management process that reduces their network down-time and reduces their cost of constantly “fire-fighting” network problems.
Typically, the most immediate impact that our Architechs have delivered for our clients in achieving the results stated above is through the use of an audit on their current Information Technology platform.
Some of the most common solutions that we have implemented to help rectify gaps identified during those audits are:
- Utilizing Layer 4 and Layer 7 deep-packet inspection, and quarantining high-risk VPN clients.
- Implementing and effectively utilizing Microsoft’s MOM 2005 and/or SMS 2003.
The money that our customers save as a result of the first bullet above is typically used to fund other important IT projects that have been put on hold due to the lack of internal funding.
Our Architechs are experienced in LAN / WAN topology, network services (DNS, DHCP, WINS), directory services (AD, LDAP), Internet services, telecom services, remote connectivity (VPN, RRAS), management of assets (SMS, WUS), redudancy, disaster recovery, and storage capacity.
Upon completion of an IT Infrastructure audit or project, our customers typically leverage our ManagedTech Services for IT Infrastructure to support their on-going network maintenance needs.
