ST. LOUIS, MO – MARCH 26, 2018 – IT Architechs has chosen to support the St. Louis Down Syndrome organization with annual fundraising for the 10th straight year.
IT Architechs holds a special friend close to us that has a son with Down Syndrome. He has inspired us year over year to join him and this great organization to raise money. All the money that is raised in St. Louis stays in St. Louis and it is used to help families with Down Syndrome children, it also helps fund research.
Every June an IT Architechs team participates in Jacob Journey’s, and many other teams, do a fun walk around Forest Park by the Muny. This special day is to celebrate all the beautiful Down Syndrome children/adults.
“We get such pleasure seeing the smiles on all the faces we are celebrating, especially when they finish the walk and get their medals,” says Dwayne Worley, owner of IT Architechs. “Not only do we walk, we also test our knowledge at their annual Trivia night they host to raise funds.”
Jacob is a soon-to-be 18-year old young man who loves to play video games, watch all kinds of movies and TV shows (mainly Disney, Sesame Street and Sponge Bob), and be around family as much as possible. We joined this event many years ago to show our support for the local Down Syndrome community, make some new friends, share experiences, and of course, to raise money for the organization.
